According to the implementation of the project “Strengthening the National Quality Infrastructure (NQI)for trade in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar”, Mr. Ned Gravel, Accreditation Expert from UNIDO delivered basic training on ISO/IEC 17025- “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories” during the period 6-8 June, 2016. The training was attended by staff from Food and Drug Administration (FDA-YGN), Food and Drug Administration (FDA-MDY), Food and Drug Administration (FDA-NPT), Department of Medical Research, Ministry of Health (DMR), National Health Lab, Ministry of Health (NHL), Analytical Laboratory Section, Department of fisheries(FIQCD), Commodity Testing and Quality Management System(CTQM), Soil and Water Section Laboratory under Yezin Agricultural University, Myanmar Inspection and Testing Services, Food Industries Development Supporting Laboratory(FIDSL) , National Edible Oil Quality Control Laboratory(NEOQCL) , Universities’ Research Centre, University of Yangon and Metrology division of DRI, as well as the staff of the Accreditation division of DRI.
