The 33rd Meeting of the ASEAN Consultative Committee on Standards and Quality (ACCSQ) Working Group 2 on Conformity Assessment was held at M Gallery Hotel, Naypyitaw, Myanmar on 13-15 September 2017. The Meeting was attended by delegates from Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat. Myanmar is indeed honored to play host the second time for this meeting. Myanmar hosted 24th ACCSQ WG2 meeting in 2013. In this meeting, ASEAN members discussed the implementation of Conformity Assessment strategies and relevant technical infrastructure to support ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), including the identification and the establishment plan for harmonization of standards on conformity assessments.
