With the objectives of how to operate certification procedures among the stakeholders, ASTM/Myanmar’s DRI sharing about certification operation in ASTM was held on 17 June, 2022 with the conveying of ASEAN Regional Coordinator through virtual system and Director General, Department of Research and Innovation, the officials from National Standards and Quality Department together with the stakeholders from government and private associations nearly 30 persons had also been participated into the webinar. Accordingly, the speaker from ASTM had also been discussed about the role and responsibilities in safety equipment institute (SEI), the value of the certified mark in ASTM meeting with ISO 17065 and the certification operation on safety equipment products, process and services in ASTM etc. to the participants.
