Awareness seminar on the applicability of standards was celebrated at Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), Yangon on 29 March 2023 with the cooperation of Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Research and Innovation and UMFCCI. Accordingly, the director general of Department of Research and Innovation and the Vice-President of UMFCCI delivered to the opening speech respectively. And the President of Technical Subcommittee on Management System also delivered the speech on behalf of technical subcommittees. The representatives from the government sector and the relevant associations under UMFCCI participated to the seminar. In the seminar, standardization procedure; providing services of Accreditation; and providing calibration services, among the Myanmar standards set by the electrical and electronics sector, about the Standards of 450/750 V cables, among the Myanmar standards developed by the motor vehicle sector, about MMS UNECE R 100 and MMS UNECE R 136 standards, among the Myanmar standards developed by the management sector, about ISO 10015 and MMS ISO 10018 standards were discussed and presented respectively by each of the relevant organizations.
