Awareness seminar on the use of standards was celebrated at Assembly Hall, Department of Research and Innovation(DRI), Ministry of Science and Technology, Yangon on 25 August 2023. Accordingly, Deputy Minister delivered the opening speech. Director General, rectors, the representatives from the government ministries and the relevant associations under UMFCCI participated to the seminar. In the seminar, “Activities on Strengthening national quality infrastructure (NQI)”were presented by Department of Research and Innovation(DRI), Department of Consumer Affairs presented about “the Myanmar Standards and summery of standards which established by Standardization Technical Sub Committee for Agro-based Product” and also Department of Agriculture were presented about “the Myanmar Standards and summary of standards which established by Standardization Technical Sub Committee for Agricultural Processes” respectively.
