On 7 May 2024, World Standardization and Certification & Testing Group Co., Ltd (WSCT), a Conformity Assessment Body based in China, visited Myanmar to discuss about the services of conformity assessment bodies in Myanmar at meeting room, National Standards and Quality Department under Department of Research and Innovation(DRI). The intended objective of WSCT meeting is to conduct Registration and Designation process cooperated for Testing, Inspection and Certification activities as a Certification Body prior to export products from China to Myanmar. In this meeting, Mr. Jason Zhang (WSCT’s General Manager), Mr. Kibwila Phineas (Project Manager) and Mr. Tshibanda Mulowayi (Country Operation Manager) from WSCT had also discussed with the head of the National Standards and Quality Department and the government officials from Myanmar side. In addition, , Mr. Fengbing Wang (the CEO of WSCT), Mr. Freddy Shen (Director Assistant) and Mr. Khalil (Product Certification Manager) had also joined and discussed through online system.
