The 52nd Meeting of the ASEAN Consultative Committee for Standards and Quality (ACCSQ) Working Group on Standards (WG1) was held on 23 – 24 October 2024 convened by the ASEAN Secretariat via video conferencing system and the representatives from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam and ASEAN Dialogue partners including PTB (Germany) and METI (Japan) had also been participated into the meeting respectively. As (WG1, ACCSQ) focal department of Myanmar, Head of Delegate and three officials from Standards Development Division, National Standards and Quality Department had also been attended with other AMS.
Accordingly, the meeting agenda had also been discussed the followings:
- Follow up Actions on matter arising from 51st WG1 Meeting
- Updates of Harmonized standards from PWGs (presented by each AMS)
- Information Exchange between NSB of AMS for adoption of Standards
- ASEAN Dialogue Partners Sessions
