Asia Pacific Monthly Forum convened by Asia Pacific ISO Coordinator was held on 21 August 2024 via ZOOM Link and the officials from Myanmar Standards Body under Department of Research and Innovation and members from TC1-Technical Sub Committee for Electrical and Electronic, TC9-Technical Sub Committee for Building and Construction and TC12-Technical Sub Committee for Communication and Information Technology attended respectively into the forum. In the forum, the speaker from ISO/CS project management office explained about “ISO/CS General updates”, the speaker form Bureau of Indian Standards(BIS) discussed about “ISO/TC 332 Security equipment used for financial institutions and commercial organizations” and speakers from ISO/CS discussed about “Update on ISO Governance review, Annual Meeting 2024 update, Update on Open Consultation, ISO/UNDP 53002 Guidelines for contributing to the UN SDGs” respectively.
