With the intended objectives of strengthening the National Quality Infrastructure and developing research activities in the Technological and Computer Universities under Ministry of Science and Technology. During the study period, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Aung Zeya led by eight members of Myanmar Delegation Group visited Beijing, from January 7 to 11, 2025 to discuss the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between (Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China-SAC) under the State Administration for Market Regulation – SAMR and Department of Research and Innovation (DRI) to exchange information in the field of standardization and then discussed with China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment – CNAS to make a new collaboration with accreditation scope. Deputy Minister of Science and Technology with Myanmar Delegation Group discussed with National Institute of Metrology – NIM(China) to follow up the action plan of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between DRI and NIM(China) and then visited to study the Calibration Laboratories including (Medical, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Gas flow, AI (Vibration and Kinematic Parameters), Solar Photovoltaic and EV Calibration Measurement) etc. Moreover, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology with Myanmar Delegation Group visited to Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and Beijing University of Post and Telecommunications (BUPT) for developing research activities in Technological and Computer Universities under Ministry of Science and Technology such as EV, AI, Digital Technology and Smart City Sectors to make technical promotion and joint research collaboration between China and Myanmar.
