National Quality Infrastructure Awareness forum was celebrated at Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), Yangon on 16 August 2022 with the cooperation of Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Research and Innovation and UMFCCI. Accordingly, the Union Minister of Science and Technology and the president of UMFCCI had also delivered to the opening speech respectively. In the forum, the relevant speakers had also shared about the implementation of National Quality Infrastructure in Myanmar, the procedures for National Certification Body, Guidelines for Good Agricultural Practice (GAP), Testing on domestic and international Electronic Products, the role of laboratories in National Quality Infrastructure, the safety requirements of food production and forest Certification in Myanmar to the representatives from the government sector and the relevant associations under UMFCCI with a total of 135 participants to know the importance of National Quality Infrastructure (NQI).
