Holding the UNIDO project closing ceremony for “Strengthening the National Infrastructure (NQI) for Trade in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar”

Department of Research and Innovation (DRI) held the UNIDO project closing ceremony for “Strengthening the National Infrastructure (NQI) for Trade in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar” at Sedona Hotel in Yangon on 26^th March , 2018. During the ceremony, U Win Khaing Moe, Director General from DRI and Mrs. Dominika Katarzyna DOR- SKROBOT ,  Project  Manager from UNIDO delivered the Opening Speech and then Dr Zar Ni Aung, Director from National Standards and Quality Department , U Sein Thaung Oo, Vice President from Myanmar Food Processors and Exporters  Association (MFPEA), Dr Min Wun , Acting Director  from Food and Drug Department (Yangon),        U Kyaw Soe , General Manager, Myanmar Inspection and  Testing Services, representative from  food processing company who took part in Food Safety Management system gave the testimony presentation regarding with assistance and benefit gained from the project. Total number of  participants  is about 120 and  committee members of National Standards Council, UNIDO Steering Committee,  concerned Ministries, private sectors such as  Myanmar Engineering  Society(MES), Myanmar Food Processors and Exporters  Association (MFPEA), Food Science and Technology Association (FOSTA) and Small and Medium Enterprise and  officials  from DRI attended in the event.
