To support and build Critical and Emerging Technologies (CET) Standards adoption in ASEAN countries, “Incubating Capacity for Critical and Emerging Technology Standards” Virtual Event was held on 25-28 October 2021 convened by Standards Australia. Accordingly, the relevant representatives from Department of Industrial Collaboration, No. (1) Heavy Industrial Enterprise, Department of Trade, Myanmar Computer Federation, Myanmar Computer Industry Association, Myanmar Mobile Industry Association, Myanmar Digital Media Association together with Myanmar Standards Body had also been participated and in the summit, the experts from ISO and IEC, policy makers, regulators and ASEAN National Standards Bodies shared the importance of CET standards worldwide, CET standardization development in ISO and IEC technical committees and ASEAN Roadmap and Action Plan of CET Standards across the region had also been shared and discussed respectively.
