Under the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Special Fund(2023) project, the Development Research Center of the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), a Partner Institute, invited the participants to conduct a field visit program on strengthening national quality infrastructure and Implementation of National Certification Body for Certifying Products, Processes and Services. A 15-member of delegations from Myanmar (Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Construction), Cambodia and Lao PDR visited to Nanning, Guangzhou, and Shunde, the People’s Republic of China from February 19 to 26, 2025. The objective of field visit is to learn about the conformity assessment system of the People’s Republic of China and effectively implement conformity assessment bodies in each country. Delegation group studied on standardization, accreditation, Metrology, Certification, Testing at the Guangxi Institute of Standards and Technology (GXIST), Guangxi Institute of Product Quality Inspection (GXQT), Guangdong Quality Testing Institute of Product Quality Supervision (GQI), CVC Testing Technology Co.,Ltd, Midea Group, and Galanz Group such as measuring equipments for electrical and electronic products used in high voltage, electromagnetic fields, cleaning sweeping robots, skincare electronic products in electrical laboratory, physical laboratory, food testin in chemical laboratory and also visited robots developed by using AI technology and microwave manufacturing products using robots.
