On 14 October 2022, National Standards Council Meeting (2/2022) was held on M GALLERY Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw and National Standards Council Members, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Science and Technology, Director General of Department of Research and Innovation, Director General of Department of Monitoring and Evaluation and the officials from the Department of Research and Innovation had been attended to the council meeting respectively. In the meeting, Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, Union Minister, Ministry of Science and Technology delivered the opening speech. And in the meeting, Myanmar Standards (58) which are the points to be approved and distributed in detail to the council members, updating the Technical subcommittee and establishment of National Certification Body were approved.
